Samer Mekhail is the President and CEO of Samer Mekhail CPA, LLC, bringing over 18 years of extensive experience in public accounting. His expertise spans client service delivery, audit quality, professional practice, and leadership roles.
Before founding his firm, Samer dedicated more than 15 years to prominent Big Four accounting firms, specializing in attest services and holding key positions in the assurance national office. His background reflects a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the accounting and assurance landscape.

My journey began with KPMG, where I laid the foundation for a successful career in accounting and gaining invaluable experience. I then joined Ernst and Young (or "EY"), where I obtained my CPA license. During my time with EY, I was passionate about education, so I developed CPA materials to assist aspiring accountants in passing their exams. During my time with EY, I served large public clients across various industries. Later, I became the Southern America Construction Leader at Marcum, further honing my expertise. Then joined BDO National Office where I focused on inspection support, audit consultation, and establishing and monitoring Audit Quality Programs. During my tenue with BDO, I served as a CAM Subject Matter Expert (or "SME"). Throughout my career, I have nurtured a dream of opening his own accounting practice, driven by a desire to help clients achieve their financial goals. Through establishing this firm, I get the opportunity to help and support my clients the way they deserve.

Smile Bathla leads the Advisory & Consultation service line at the Firm, bringing over 10 years of diverse experience spanning public accounting and private industry. He has held multiple leadership roles, working with businesses across a range of sectors, from startups to established enterprises. His leadership has directly contributed to measurable improvements in client operations, such as increasing profitability, optimizing financial processes, and scaling operations for sustained growth.
Starting his career at a prestigious Big Four accounting firm, Smile built a strong foundation in financial reporting and strategic planning. Over time, he developed a passion for supporting businesses through all stages of growth. With first-hand experience as an investor and advisor to multiple small businesses, Smile understands the unique challenges entrepreneurs face. His hands-on approach combines strategic insight with practical, actionable solutions.
Smile specializes in financial reporting, budgeting & forecast, process optimization, and growth strategy. In addition, Smile has vast experience working as interim CFO from small and mid-size companies. By tailoring each solution to meet the specific needs of his clients, Smile simplifies complex challenges and delivers measurable results.
